Thanks for the breakdown of business/social relationships that are the key to new and lasting sales. I only sold one summer, but feel as if I am there consciously much of the time. Instead of books, I sell creative ideas and dependable service in the landscape industry. The first two sources listed have come naturally through seeking the best solutions for the customer (for lack of a better description). The last pool you referred to is also key and is best utilized in my experience by looking upon quasi - competitors as assets and potential partners in business. That way you can bring your best and their best to achieve a common goal.</description>
