Southwestern Sales Talk

I heard Mort Uley give a speech @ Harding University when I was a student in the late 1970′s. I think it was titled “Jesus the Man!” If anyone has a transcript or auditory copy or cd that I can get this please let me know. It was the most inspiring speech I’ve ever heard Mort Utley give in my five summers I sold books with the SW book company. Thank you for your prompt response. I have been trying to remember the motivational speaker who quoted the Olympics. The story I remember the most was the Paavo Nurmi story. Do you recall who I might be thinking of, and is there a copy of it available still?

Hey, Tim. Wow. I do not recall that particular Olympic story, but Mort quoted Bob Richards, an Olympian himself, for most of his keynote examples. Bob even did a few of our Sales School keynotes some years ago.
Did you ever get a copy of Mort Utley “Jesus the Man”.
I sold for Southwestern AND graduated Harding Academy and was baptized by Dean of Harding University Divinity School.

I sold books and now own my own business and I wanted to get a copy of the mort talk about the guy running who fell down and got back up. I wanna win.
